Testimonials

At Adelaide Solar Systems, we pride ourselves on the quality of our people, workmanship and products.

The Solar industry is currently seeing some unscrupulous
Solar suppliers and installers. We believe the best way
for you to make an informed decision on who you choose to supply and install your Solar System is to hear what some of our previous clients have had to say about our service.

Your company recently installed 8 solar panels on my roof. I'd like to say thank you for the efficient and professional way in which the job was organised and carried out.
It was a pleasure doing business with Adelaide Solar Systems and I will not hesitate to recommend you to others. Please pass on my thanks to all concerned.

...I was very impressed with Stu and Warren and the quality of their service. Have highly recommended your company to several friends.

Just a note to say "Thank You".
Your intial visit to our home to assess our requirements / options for Solar Power was not rushed, and was conducted in a very helpful & informative manner (as were follow-up discussions).

The quote which followed in the mail was detailed & very helpful in assisting us to make a decision. The installation seemed to go smoothly & efficiently, all visible equipment appears to be neatly & tidily installed, and the team ( headed by Stewart ) were careful, polite & helpful.

Again, our thanks to all at Adelaide Solar Systems.

Dear Bill,
Our Solar system was included on a list of 200 installations to be inspected by the Office Of The Technical Regulator, and we received a visit from them on 20 July.

They were satisfied, and said that our installation was one of the better ones they had looked at. Just thought we would pass that on to you.

After spending many hours reading whirlpool posts on solar systems I thought I would share my experience with my installation. When I decided on what size system and type of components I was interested in I got several quotes to install.

I had some companies try to scare me off chinese made panels and inverters. I did not have a problem with the Chinese gear and I am pretty sure my Suntech 180 panels will do the job for years to come.

I also had some companies absolutely bag out other companies. I personally would rather here about what they could offer me rather than try to put me off their competition.

On the 24th of May I had "Bill" from Adelaide solar systems give me a quote for my system. Bill was very knowledgable and gave a great deal of advice not knowing if he was going to get the job or not.

After Bill had left I compiled all of the info that had gathered on my kitchen table and after one last look and a bit more googling/whirlpool reading I decided that I would go with Adelaide Solar Systems. They were not the cheapest, I was just impressed with there over all package. I was going to call them the next day and order. Later that night I had several of the companies that quoted give me a call and tell me that the rec price had changed and that their quotes would need to change as well. Then Bill called me and I thought he would have the same news but instead he said that if I ordered first thing in the morning they would honour the $ 40 rec price they quoted me.

I ordered my system and paid a $ 1000 deposit. They said that install would hopefully take place in the first week of July. They also sent me out an ETSA form for me to sign so that they could get my meter changed.

A couple of weeks later I got a call from ASS (Adelaide Solar Systems) to give me 2 date choices for the ETSA meter to be changed. I chose the 7th July as I was hoping that my system would be installed that week.

Last week I got a call from ASS to check that all was ok for my system to be installed on the 8th July. I of course said yes.

Yesterday the guys from ASS arrived at around 9.00am. There were 4 people of which Bill (sales guy) was one of them.

I was impressed that all of the aluminium tracks had been anodised as I live by the sea. They finished at around 3.00pm and did a great job.

When doing the final paper work the electrician told me that they had thrown in the Xantrex extended warrantee for no extra charge.

I was able to pay the balance of the system on my credit card with no penalty which was a bonus as I earnt about 15000 frequent flyer points. Please note that I am only talking about my experience so I hope that none of you have had a bad experience with them. (I could not find any bad reports when researching).

The system I have installed on my shed roof is:
24 x Suntech STP180S-24Ad 180 watt solar modules
Xantrex GT5.0 Inverter with 10 year warrantee
Anodised aluminium mounting rails
Cost: $ 15,625
